Charnwood 1MTCRC12 Revolving Crown Centre – 1MT, 12mm

The Charnwood 1MTCRC12 revolving crown centre provides secure tailstock support when spindle turning on a woodturning lathe.

Also known as a live centre, its ring of sharp teeth bites into the timber at several points, providing a firm hold with less risk of splitting the workpiece than a traditional pointed centre. A spring-loaded centre point helps with accurate positioning before the crown engages with the wood.  

Designed for lathes with a 1 Morse Taper tailstock, it is suitable for holding smaller spindle-turning projects securely between centres.
