Made with a flat rectangular bar the standard Skew Chisels are heavier than others and reduces the chatter you would normally get. 

The skew chisel is largely versatile, in spindle work it can be used for producing beads, v-cuts, cleaning up end grain for a smooth finish and many other things.

Made from high speed M2 steel they will hold an edge keeping sharp and reducing sharpening time.
